2 T. lime juice
¼ c. water
¼ c. tightly packed basil leaves,
stems removed
8 oz. naturally sparkling mineral water
sprig mint
1 drop of Stevia
Instructions: Puree lime juice, water and basil leaves in blender. Strain. Pour into a large glass and add mineral water (it will foam). Serve over ice if desired.
If you can find Thai basil leaves, try this with them. |

Carrot-Apple-Ginger Juice |

½ c. grated carrot
1 small apple
1/4” piece ginger root
Instructions: Process all ingredients in juicer and serve.
Note: You really need a juicer for this- a food processor or blender will not work.
Really fresh ginger makes the difference in this drink!

1 organic peach or ½ c. casaba melon
¾” ginger root
2 T. lemon juice
naturally sparkling mineral water
Instructions:Process peach or melon and ginger root in juicer. Pour into a glass, add lemon juice and add an equal amount of seltzer water. Serve immediately.
Note: You can make this in a food processor. Puree peach, ginger and lemon juice. Strain through cheesecloth, squeezing out all the liquid. Discard solids. Add an equal amount of seltzer water and serve.

2” piece of fresh ginger
1 T. lemon juice
½ c. water
1 drop of Stevia
1 c. naturally sparkling mineral water
black pepper (optional)
Instructions: In a blender or food processor, blend the ginger and water until the ginger has been liquefied. Strain. Measure ½ c. of the ginger water and place in serving glass. Add the lemon juice and Stevia. Add the mineral water, stir and top with freshly ground black pepper.

6 fresh mint leaves, chopped
3 fresh rosemary sprigs, chopped
½ c. boiling water
Stevia
3 kumquats, sliced
1/4 c. lime juice
1/2 c. naturally sparkling mineral water
Instructions: Smash herbs against side of glass pitcher to release their essence. Add boiling water and let steep for about 5 minutes. Add Stevia, kumquats and lime juice and chill for 2 hours. Add mineral water just before serving. Serve cold or room temperature.
